Dalbeg Coastal Walk/Recce - 02.02.2020

A nice walk coastal walk round to one of the natural arches on the west side of Lewis, with others in sight if you know where to look. Some folk would make you believe that there is nothing between the closer arch and Canada apart the Wild Atlantic Ocean, which is not true, for one there's the beautiful historical village of Dalbeg...No swimming as it was too wild but really enjoyed the stunning scenery...Hopefully it'll be calmer next time for a swim through the arch(es) at high tide...Always good to do a recce in advance of a swim...Much easier walking from the Dalbeg side rather than the Norse mill end...
