A brisk wind chill made you appreciate the warm sea temp of 7 degrees this afternoon on the minch side of the braighe. Great swim in great company. 500m towards my Artic PBC, bringing my monthly total to 4.9k so far.

Snowy swim this morning at Creed Bay. A right mix of temps (5.3-7.2 sea temps, 0 air) swimming across the front of the island at the mouth of the river creed. Thanks to Donna for the Christmas pressie designer trunks, lol. Great craic with great company. 800m, bringing my Artic pbc to 4.4k for the month so far. Choppy swim in the waves at the Ui Church this morning in good company. New duckman was saying 5.8 degrees average. Another 500m towards my Artic PBC, now a total of 3.6k for the month so far. Merry Christmas everyone! Great swim at the Ui Church this morning with the odd wave bouncing us along as we swam across them. A nice wind chill too certainly wakes you up. A further 500 metres towards my Polar Bear Artic Challenge, bringing my monthly total to 3.1k so far. That's me over the line for December now. Cracking swim with Jo and Seumas at the Ui Church end of the Braighe this morning. Spring tides made for an interesting swim as we knew it would. Fantastic way to start the day and with good company too. 700 metres towards my artic polar bear challenge, bringing the monthly total to 2600 metres so far. Quick skins swim before work this morning down at Swordale bay 400 metres towards my artic challenge, 1900metres for the month so far. Even a flat tyre on my car didn't stop us swimming today. Quick change of wheel, before getting in the sea for a quick swim with Jo and Seumas then it was off to the garage. Have to say that the sea felt so much warmer than the river creed did last Saturday. 400metres towards my Polar Bear Artic Challenge, bringing my monthly total to 1500metres so far. Fantastic swim at the mouth of the river creed this morning but by jove it was chilly on the fresh water side with the recent ice melt. A nice push from the river on the way out. The walk back to the cars fairly warms you up. Good times with great company. 600 metres towards my Polar Bear Artic Challenge, bringing my December total to 1100 metres so far.
