A cracker of a coastal walk over in Uig today with Joseph, Joshua and Hanna. About an hour's walk to the beautiful small beach where Joseph and myself got in for a swim over to the second beach while Joshua and Hanna had fun with items found on the shore. A wee wander around the coast on the westside of Lewis this afternoon with Joseph, Joshua, Hanna and Molly. Molly and myself had a quick swim in one of the bay's and I managed to get through the arch. Then we had a look round at Stac a phris, which is stunning. Click here for the link to the YouTube video from the outing. A wee hike around some of Northton in Harris with Duncan. Weather wasn't the best as was that misty drizzly rain that we all love in Scotland. At least it wasn't midge. Still, it's a great place for an outing. Views and history are amazing. Click here for the link to the YouTube video from the outing. Superb swim down the 88 steps at Shulishader with Mary, Faris and Hisham this afternoon. We found that the cauldron has an entrance at the bottom of it, so we did some cave exploring. It's an excellent place for a mini swim adventure. A fair chop out in the open but the cove's were mostly sheltered. Click here for the link to the YouTube video from the outing. Lumpy sea but good fun getting through the arch at garrabost this afternoon with Faris, Kirsty, Eilidh, Kim and Ruth. The arch was actually the most sheltered part. It's definitely a favourite place of mine for a swim adventure. Great craic. Click here for the link to the YouTube video from the outing. A fair distance walked today with Kellie doing the Urgha and Maraig circuit. It's one of the route's in the WalkHighlands book, although we started in a different location from the book. Highly recommended with breathtaking views all along the way. Good footwear, sense of adventure plus food and drinks too. Video is a mishmash of Kellie's and my photos. Not 100% sure that they're in the right order.
