Kellie and myself nipped down to Bayble beach this morning for a quick dook in the sea. It's been ages since we'd both been in and we were saying how much we'd missed it. We won't be leaving it so long till the next swim. Plenty of sea urchins and also saw a starfish too. Trying some flashy inset video editing too 🤣 Click here to view the YouTube Video from the outing Music is by Wrest Grand day out in Uig with Jo, swimming from Reef beach over to the island of Bhacasaigh for a wee explore around, along with plenty of epic panoramic views, having lunch before then getting back in again this time near the small island of Liacam to check out some of Bhacasaigh's amazing coastline on the way back to Reef beach. There's a lot more to Bhacasaigh than we think 😊 Click here to view the YouTube Video from the outing Music is by Beluga Lagoon Highlight of this swim was seeing the sunlight glint off the wings of a small bird swimming underwater to the right of me on the final leg. Perfect conditions but quite a few lions maines dotted about, more so at the point end. Click here to view the YouTube Video from the outing. Superb outing to the cauldron with Catherine and Dave this afternoon. A wee bit bouncy in the waves when out of the shelter of the bay's. Good craic going in the bottom of the cauldron though being spun around in the wash. Had my headtorch in my waterproof phone pouch and went into the darkness at the back which goes a fair distance. A grand mini adventure spot. Click here to view the YouTube Video from the outing. Loving being back in an Orca wetsuit. Click here to view the YouTube Video A superb 6 day swim trip aboard the MV Cuma with Stuart, Douglas, Eilidh, Jo, Catriona, Emma, Helen, Tim, Mary Ann, Murdanie and Murty. Dirascal, Ceann Loch Reasort, Cearstaigh, Loch Tamnabhaigh, Taransay, The Monachs, Pabbay (sound of Harris) and Pabbay Mhor were some of the fantastic locations we visited and swam at, showing off a few of the stunning places that the Outer Hebrides has to offer. It was a mixed bag of weather but we made the most of it and had a great laugh on and off the boat. Many thanks to everyone who made it a very memorable time for me ☺️ Click here to watch the YouTube Video from the outing. |
