Highlight of this swim was seeing the sunlight glint off the wings of a small bird swimming underwater to the right of me on the final leg. Perfect conditions but quite a few lions maines dotted about, more so at the point end. Click here to view the YouTube Video from the outing.

Superb outing to the cauldron with Catherine and Dave this afternoon. A wee bit bouncy in the waves when out of the shelter of the bay's. Good craic going in the bottom of the cauldron though being spun around in the wash. Had my headtorch in my waterproof phone pouch and went into the darkness at the back which goes a fair distance. A grand mini adventure spot. Click here to view the YouTube Video from the outing. Dirascal, Ceann Loch Reasort, Cearstaigh, Loch Tamnabhaigh, Taransay, The Monachs, Pabbay (sound of Harris) and Pabbay Mhor were some of the fantastic locations we visited and swam at, showing off a few of the stunning places that the Outer Hebrides has to offer. It was a mixed bag of weather but we made the most of it and had a great laugh on and off the boat. Many thanks to everyone who made it a very memorable time for me ☺️ Click here to watch the YouTube Video from the outing. A stunning evening for a swim in the river creed with Connor, Kellie, Jacq and Liam. The sun was blinding us as we swam on the inside of the wee island then we headed upstream a heron flew past us. There was another bird perched on a rock further up looking for fish I'm guessing. Getting as far as we could up river, then launching ourselves with the flowing current back down is always great fun. Seeing the Loch Seaforth ferry coming into Stornoway was a nice bonus as we headed back to the shore. A very quick change due to the onslaught of midge's finished off a grand night out. Conditions were perfect plus no jellyfish either but one or two seals which didn't bother us anyway. Click here to view the YouTube Video from the outing. These walks in North Uist are well worth doing and not too strenuous at all. Was surprised to find out that the carving of Hercules the bear statue was done by one of my brothers friends - Iain Chalmers @ Chainsaw Creations. Definitely coming back here again. Click here to watch the YouTube Video from the outing. Kellie and myself took a hike up to the summit of Heaval, which is the highest point in Barra. We stopped off at the statue on the way up. The higher you get, the more amazing the panoramic views are. Definitely worth doing. Took us 2 hours round trip.
