A few photo's of this evenings swim Grant at Coll beach. Met up with Stuart at the end of the first lap. Nice night for it though there was a fair amount of movement in the sea. Duckman was saying 9.3 degrees. 5k @ 1hr51mins You could tell it was going to be a magical swim when there's 4 deer outside your drive before you head off to the beach. Duckman was saying 10.4 degrees. 1 crab and 1 moon jellyfish spotted. 5k wetsuit swim @ 1hr42mins at Coll Beach. Nice way to finish off April, with a 5k skins swim, first decent distance in trunks this year. Love the feeling of doing all the work yourself. Also noticed a few crabs on the go, so time to watch your feet in the water. Duckman was saying 9 degrees average. 5k@ 1hr53mins Had to be done. A spin down to Garry beach for a swim through the sea stack. Met Brian, recently moved to the island and is working in a local garage. Always great to meet a fellow swimmer. Duckman was saying 11.5 degrees inshore. Colder further out. No wetsuit required.. What a Spring morning for a swim. Very changeable weather with some bonkers waves. You could feel the power of the spring tide, still it was good to get out in the sea for a bit. The weather wasn't putting Katia, Susan or Ep off. Duckman was saying 6.7 degrees. Lindsey Cole met up with some of the Hebridean Sea Swimmers group this morning for a splash in the sea at Garry beach. Waves were fun and was great to see the Helicopter out doing some training. Duckman was saying 7.2 degrees average. Lindsey is travelling around different swimming communities whilst raising money for Crisis, the Homeless Charity.
