The weather was definitely a lot better this weekend for our next Point coastal adventure. This time carrying on from the Garrabost slipway to the pier at Portnaguran with a short stop on the shore at Shulishader (Geodha nan Eathraichean - Boats' Gully) for snacks etc...and to meet up with Rebecca and Lola. The whole coastline is vibrant with an assortment of geo's, caves and arches to explore plus rocky outcrops to try and get make your way through if possible and an abundance of sea and birdlife. Kellie (kayaking) and myself (swimming) probably did more exploring in the first half and went more direct in the second half due to time constraints. Still, it was pretty cool swimming past the Wyre Law shipwreck and finishing at the pier at Portnaguran. Also loved swimming through the arch into "the green cave" it's a stunning place.
