Garrabost Hole Swim - 07.09.2025

Last minute decision to go for a mid afternoon swim and to try and get through the Garrabost hole (putting it politely, as it poops you out 🙈🤣) as the conditions weren't as bad as the forecast. I headed straight over and just managed to get through (spring tides today so it wouldn't take long before the tide was too high, making it unsafe and impossible) then I swam back via the arch and a few loops around the small sea stacks. Met a nice couple from the mainland camping overnight. They pointed out an otter to me, amazing as I've only ever seen one there before over the years I've been swimming there.
