Braighe to Portnaguran 10k Swim - 28.09.2025

Cracking conditions for a swim, going from the Braighe (broadbay side) to the pier at Portnaguran, stopping at Garrabost slipway and Shulishader steps bay for refuelling. When leaving Shulishader, I met a man out fishing, so had a quick chat with him before continuing on my way. Loads of seals as usual between Aignish and Garrabost with 4-5 swimming under me at one point. There was a boat out sorting lobster pots and another one getting ready to head out, as I came ashore. After getting changed, I walked home, passing through Flesherin taking the coastal path to Shulishader and home from there. Swim = 10k, Walk = 3.78k. Some beautiful rainbows today 🌈
