My 300th video on youtube shows me nailing an arch round off the coast of Point. I was followed by a seal for a while, then birds flying by and plenty of jellyfish too. All makes for a great mini afternoon adventure. I use YT more for myself as a diary rather looking for viewers. It's handy to look back on over the years. Am sure duckman was saying around 13 degrees. Had the wetsuit on as a very rocky area I was going to be around. Good craic. Click here for link to the YouTube video from the outing.

Cracking way to start the day with a 5am swim on the minch side of the braighe with Malcolm. Around 1km done in semi skin's (rash vest and surf leggings) for me. Duckman was saying 11.2 degrees average. Click here for link to the YouTube video from the outing. Fantastic swim out to a stunning cave on the minch side of holm bay this afternoon between split shifts at work. Great way to unwind for a wee while. Just wore a shortie rash vest and surf leggings. Duckman was saying a roasty toasty 12.2 degrees average. Click here for the link to the YouTube video from the outing. Cracking afternoon swim with Dave in Point. Duckman was saying an average 11.7 degrees which was just amazing. We followed the coast round for a bit whilst watching the sea life till we came to an arch which we scrambled through (at the right tide you'd be able to swim through it I'm guessing) to the other side and swim out round the back. Dave spotted a large seal which followed us and a one point breached near to me. It's fantastic to see the sea come back to life again. Will be back there again for sure. It's great what we have on our doorstep, I certainly appreciate it and to be able to do it for free. Good times. Click here for the link to the YouTube video from the outing. |
